Coping with Infertility

Identifying what triggers us can help in planning out the holidays. This allows us to support ourselves and honor the chapter of life we are in right now. Is there a holiday event that you are dreading? Or a family member you just know is going to ask that unfortunate question?

It is ok to feel how you feel about your infertility, and still be grateful for so many other blessings in your life. One doesn’t disqualify the other, they are both valid. The important piece is taking the steps and resources necessary to navigate your Infertility to the best of your ability.

Think about what these triggers are for you, and implement boundaries to protect your mental health.

Follow these steps to setting healthy boundaries:

1) Identify triggers

2) Name your emotions

3) Set the intention

4) Establish the boundaries

5) Identify the resistance

6) Then execute, execute, execute
